Create new delivery methods

 

The action button New delivery methods can be found in the right of the toolbar in the Delivery methods register. Clicking on this button opens the Delivery methods general panel for adding a new delivery method to the register.

The Delivery methods register can be accessed from the menu Registers | Delivery methods.

The screen can be divided into two parts:

  1. Toolbar
  2. Settings

1. Toolbar

Toolbar has a link to all the Registers submodules and the edit buttons.

Save Save the changes.
X (Cancel) Disregard changes and close the form. 

 

2. Settings

In Settings, you can enter or edit delivery methods.

Active  Enable this toggle button to mark that a delivery method is active and can be used on documents.
ID 2-character alphanumerical code of the delivery method.
Description Description for this delivery method (max. 100 characters).
Method of transportation

Method of transportation for this kind for this delivery.

The dropdown menu has the following options:

  1. Sea transport
  2. Rail Transport
  3. Road transport
  4. Air transport
  5. Mail
  6. Transport installations
  7. Inland waterways
  8. Self-propelled

 

Warning

If we want to delete a delivery method that we have already used on documents, the program gives us a warning: The delivery method is already in use and cannot be deleted.
