Searching in the Workflow definitions register

On the Workflow Design form of the Workflow definitions register, you can view and edit all created or downloaded eWorkflows.

The form can be accessed from the menu Settings | Documentation | Workflow Design.

This chapter describes how to search for workflows in the Workflow definitions register.

CASE SUMMARY

The person responsible wants to search for eWorkflow Send SMS. For this purpose, the person responsible enters the search criteria in the search field to display the desired eWorkflow. This is done as follows:

  1. Opening the search window
  2. Entering the search criteria
  3. Selecting the eWorkflow

1. Opening the lookup window

In the toolbar of the Workflow Design form, the person responsible clicks the (three dots) icon next to the Search by field.

The search window opens.

The person responsible enters the relevant criteria.

2. Entering the search criteria

In the Search by field, the person responsible selects the Process option from the list to search the workflows by process name.

In the input field, the person responsible enters: %SMS%.

Using the special character % ensures that all eWorkflows containing SMS in their name are displayed.

The eWorkflows with the name that matches the entered criteria are displayed.

3. Selecting the eWorkflow

The person responsible selects the relevant eWorkflow from the list.

The selected eWorkflow is highlighted and its ID is displayed in the Search by field.

Clicking the OK button opens the selected eWorkflow in the Workflow Design form.

HINT

You can also open the eWorkflow from the list by double-clicking the relevant line.

The person responsible can now define the eWorkflow settings and customize it as desired.
