Posting Received Credit

   

In PANTHEON, created Installments Credits and Leases can be posted directly from the document. In this chapter, we have prepared a user manual example of posting installments for Received Credit from the bank .

Case summary

The person responsible wishes to post installments for Received Credit document 22-DKR0-000001.  The received document 22-DKR-000001 shows the credit that our company received from Addiko Bank. This is done as follows:

  1. Opening the Received Credit document
  2. Entering data into the Posts tab

1. Opening the Received Credit Document

The person responsible selects the Financials module from the menu and opens Credits and Leases | Received, by selecting  the DKR0 / Received Credits created document type. 

The document form DKR0 – Received Credits appears on the screen. In order to find a specific document: 22-DKR0-000001, the toolbar navigation buttons are used.

The selected document 22-DKR-000001 opens on the screen.

On July 1st 2022, our company received the amount of 20.000.000,00 EUR from Addiko Bank. On the bank statement post, we have the following situation:

 

2. Entering Data into the Posts Tab

Tab Posts tab is selected for posting the document as presented in the image below.

2.1. The Posts Tab

On the Posts tab, account settings and possible postings are displayed. The Accounts fields for Interests and Payable Interests are populated with data from the Document Types register (Received Credits), configured at the Posting tab in the Account for Interest field. The data can be changed here, if needed.

When the Post button is clicked, the posting process is carried out.

2.2. Automatic Posting of Received Credits and Leases

The person responsible clicks the Post button on the Posts tab, and the form for Automatic Posting of Credits and Leases appears on the screen. 

On July 1st 2023 (the first Installment due date), the person responsible has to perform the post of this installment, following these steps:

  • From the drop-down menu, the person responsible selects the document type for the journal entry, and enters the posting date (option 1 in the picture above).
  • The person responsible deselects all documents from the Documents to be posted list (option 2 in the picture above) and then selects line 1, as shown in the image below.

Now, everything is ready for posting. 

 

3. Posting

The person responsible clicks the  button in the upper right corner.

The following document appears on the screen:

 

After paying the installment on the bank statement, the person responsible has done the posting:
