BOM – Bill of materials
When clicking on the three dots icon (…) at the end of a line, a window appears for compound items, where you can create and edit the BOM for that line.

By default, when you click on the button, the data from the BOM is displayed, i.e. the items that constitute the BOM. Here, you can also delete, edit or add new lines.

BOM |
Information about which BOM the child items are displayed for, what quantity the BOM is composed for, and the price.
|
Value/PCS |
The total value of the child items per one unit of the item for which the BOM is being edited. This is therefore the sum of the values of the child items needed to produce one unit of the item in question. This value is usually transferred from BOM of the ordered product to the order line as the price of the finished product.
Therefore, the consumption value of each child item is calculated using the following formula:

|
Line |
Consecutive number of the line on the BOM order.
When transferring the default BOM from the Items register, the BOM line number is also transferred.
When adding lines manually, the program will offer the next higher line number in order of 5 after the next line number, but you can also change it manually. In this way, lines can be subsequently inserted into the BOM.
|
ID |
The ID of the child item. It is automatically transferred from the Items register, but can also be manually added or deleted. |
Title |
Name (description) of the item (from the Items register). |
Norm |
These are the quantities of materials/items used in the production of a given number of products. For example, a norm might specify how many kilograms of raw material are needed to produce one finished product. |
Value % |
Data value in percentage (%). |
U/M |
Unit of measurement for the quantity in the previous field. |
Price |
The price of a child item per unit of tem. The prices of child items in the BOM are calculated according to the furmula entered in Settings | Orders – BOM Prices Formula (i.e. by default according to the price of the BOM from Costing in the Items register).
|
R % |
Any rebate granted on the price in the previous field. |
Quantity |
The quantity of the child item in the compound (parent) item. The quantity can be entered to a maximum of six decimal places. The number of displayed decimal places can be set in PANTHEON, in Settings | Manufacturing | BOMs- Default Values, Decimal Places for Quantity. |
Delete |
