Import Data from TXT, XLS file

By clicking on Wizard
in Taskbar of Payroll preparation we can open a window Import Data from TXT, XLS file. Through this window we can import data about presence in hours and days in the form txt or xls for all in the Accounting dashboard selected databases.

Warning
Files that we want to import must be named and saved as the Company's Tax number. In the File section we select the location folder and once we hit Run, the program will look for files for each of the previously selected databases.

1. Horizontal TXT file
We can import data from a txt file by specifying the starting character of each set of txt file content.

From |
We enter from which character in the txt file we are importing values written (Hours, Days). In the example above, this is from the 19th character on. |
To |
We enter to which character in the txt file we are importing values written (Hours, Days). For example above, this is to 21st character. |
Line |
We enter the name of the item that represents the earning types for example Vacation. We can enter up to 10 characters. |
ET |
We select the Earning Type (eg. DOP) from the code table of Earning Types to which we can enter by double click. |
Data Type 1 |
We select the type of data, which we import. We can select from Hours, Days, Amount and Index. Based on selected type the information will be imported to the correspondent column. |

Data in txt. is recorded arbitrarily. We only need to look at the employee in one of the following ways:

2. Vertical TXT file and Špica

3. Vertical XLS file
When importing from a vertical XLS, we need to specify the content of XLS columns.

We enter the number of the column in which in XLS file the ET is located. |

4. XLS file horizontally

XLS column representing the earning type. Up to 100 columns can be selected to import. |

We enter the name of the item, which represents the earning type for example Reg.work. We can enter up to 10 characters. |
