First, you must select a warehouse where stock is posted at retail price (check "Post at Retail Price"). In this case the Average purchase price option is selected for stock valuation.

000001.gif See follow-up on how to perform stock valuation by average price. Of course, you can also select the fixed price option for stock valuation. Using LIFO and FIFO methods is not recommended, since determining VAT and margins could prove confusing when changing prices.
