Issue Serial Numbers
For detailed description of the serial numbers overview see chapter
Serial numbers.
If the item has been managed by serial numbers, the click on the
button
"Serial numbers" opens the window, that allows for the selection of serial
numbers for the issue. The same window also opens after you have entered the
issued amount.
In the window you can find a list of serial numbers on stock. In the right
half of the panel you can see free serial numbers, in the left part you can see
the serial numbers, that are linked with the issued document.
Select the serial number for the issue by twice clicking the free serial
number: this way you link then with the issuing document. Now you can enter it
in the field for entry of the free serial number.

ID

the code (ID) is displayed, name and the measuring
unit of the item, for which you are taking the serial numbers over.

Please note, that due to the condition, that the issued quantity has to

quantity on issue will thus be same as the quantity of issued serial

lines of issue) and selected quantity of serial numbers (from the panel

| Clear |
Removes the currently selected serial number from the
Selected list. It appears again in the Available list. Keyboard shortcut:

When the serial number is issued, it is not allowed to change it
anymore (see Serial number can not be
changed anymore!).
If you are entering the serial number manually, a situation can happen
in such case, when the entered serial number is not on stock on selected
warehouse (which does not happen when selecting serial numbers by
double-clicking free serial numbers). In such case the program reports
an error (see Serial number (xx) is not on
stock!).

- if it is about an unique serial number, the field for entry of
issued quantity will not appear, because the default issued quantity is
1
- if it is one of the batch forms of serial numbers, an additional
field for entry of issued quantity of individual batch will appear
If you only enter the quantity, but do not select the serial number,
the program reports an error (See Serial
number has to be entered mandatory!).

If the issued quantity of serial numbers is greater or
smaller than the issued quantity in the document of issue, the program will
enter the quantity , that will be same as selected amount of serial numbers
into the line of issue. The quantity of issue will so be adequately
increased or decreased according to the issued quantity of serial numbers!

Available serial numbers

| Serial number |
The serial number can also be issued by reading it from the issued item
and entering it into this field. For a difference from collecting of
serial numbers with a double click on available serial number, a
situation can occur, when the entered serial number is not on stock on
the currently selected warehouse. In such case the program reports an
error (see Entered serial number does not
exist!).

| Serial number |
List of available serial numbs on currently selected
warehouse. The serial number is most easily selected for issue, by
double-clicking one of available serial numbers. This way you link the
serial number with the issue and at the same time it is transferred into the
left side of the panel - among the selected serial numbers. |
| Quantity |
- if it is about an unique serial number, the field for entry of
issued quantity will not appear, because the default issued quantity is

- if it is one of the batch forms of serial numbers, an additional

When the quantity of entered serial numbers corresponds to the received
quantity, the program informs you a bout that (Quantity
of serial numbers reached!).

In the items register you can
at any time survey the available stock of the item by serial numbers and
check, if the serial number is still available.

If you select automatic allocation of serial numbers in the
type of document of issue, after the entry of
the quantity the program will automatically issue
the serial numbers by increasing order (from smallest to the largest).

|
In the window for the entry of serial number to an
individual record (serial number), you delete with the help of the buttons
 .
|
|
|
In the closed material period (see Settings | Parameters |
Goods | Basic data) or the closed tax period
(see Goods | VAT | VAT calculation) the entered
serial numbers cannot be changed anymore. With the click on the button
"Serial numbers" the program in such case opens the window for the
serial numbers overview.
