Pricing and Price Difference for Own Products

WARNING

To calculate the price for the item of own production, with the items category P - Product can proceed in a different way different because of the BOM report and value from the BOM!.

WARNING

If in the Administration panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Orders - Recalc BOM Price When Adding To Order box is checked, the sum of price differences of child items is not equal to the price difference of the parent item (finished own product).

For items of own manufacturing with the items type P - Product the price can be calculate in two ways:

  • In the same way, as if the pricing price is expressed in the BOM. Prices of child items in the BOM are calculated by a formula, which is entered in the Administration panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Orders - BOM Prices Formula. The sum of in this way evaluated child items will be used as the pricing price (sales price) for the parent item in the sales order, provided in the same time the Recalc BOM Price When Adding To Order box is checked (in the Administration panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Orders).
  • If the Recalc BOM Price When Adding To Order box is not checked, the program will calculate the price for the item of own manufacturing in the usual way. See also chapter price range.
  • For items of own manufacturing with the items types P - Product, the program will look for the sale price in the sales order line. Such item has its own BOM, where child items and their price difference are defined.
  • The program looks up for the prices of child items in the BOM that also displays in the analysis of the price difference. The prices are calculated by the formula which is entered  in the Administration panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Orders - BOM Prices Formula. The sum of in this way evaluated child items will be used as the pricing price (sales price) for the parent item in the sales order, provided in the same time the Recalc BOM Price When Adding To Order box is checked (in the Administration panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Orders).
  • Example:

The customer belongs to the first price range.

The price of the item IZDELEK02 for the first price range customers is 100.000 SIT (excluding VAT).

The sum of values of used child items by the formula in the Administration panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Orders - BOM Prices Formula is 72.800 SIT.

    1. Administration panel | Settings | Program Parameters |Orders - Recalc BOM Price When Adding To Order box is checked.

Used sale price in lines is 72.800 SIT.

The sum of price differences by lines of child items is equal to the price difference of the child item.

2. Administration panel | Settings | Program Parameters |Orders - Recalc BOM Price When Adding To Order box is not checked.

Used sale price in lines is 100.000 SIT.

The sum of price differences by lines of child items is not equal to the price difference of the child item.

We can see that in both cases the difference in the price of the subordinate items does not change, but the difference in the price of the final product, which is also the sales item, changes.

Vidimo, da se v obeh primerih razlika v ceni podrejenih identov ne spremeni, spremeni pa se razlika v ceni končnega izdelka, ki je tudi prodajni ident.
