Open the Operations panel in Product Specification window. Below you can observe the following two tabs, that is, Data where you can add operations and the Manufacturing Time tab. The Manufacturing Time panel displays additional information about operations. Displaying operations you can also view optimum quantity and set active alternate.

Set the two parameters in the upper section when trying to calculate manufacturing time:

Quantity for Calculation Enter quantity for calculation in order to calculate corresponding manufacturing time. Entered value must be greater than 0. The value 1 is used in case the optimum quantity be equal to the one entered. The optimum quantity for calculation set in product specification is default.
Take Into Account Set-up Time If checked, set-up time determined for operations will be used in calculating manufacturing time. The default parameter value depends on whether you have checked Take into Account Set-Up Time in the Administration Panel.

Specifying Lines:

Line Displays a line number of operation as set in the technological procedure.
Alt. Displays an alternate spec line.
Operation Displays an operation ID as set in the technological procedure.
Operation Name Displays a name of operation.
Type Displays a type of operation: Z = consecutive, I = simultaneous, C = time offset, K = quantity offset.
Offset Displays offset from the start of first operation till the beginning of the selected one. It is expressed in hours.
Duration Displays standard time required for carrying out a specific operation. It is expressed in hours. (Tpr + Tsu - when taken into account)
Resource Displays a resource ID where the selected operation is executed.
Resource Name Displays a resource name.

Bottom Section:

Manufacture Time (xxxxxx Pcs): Displays total manufacturing cycle time required for production. It is expressed in hours. It represents a period from the start of first operation to the end of last operation. Here are used available resources where operations are carried out.
