Filling in Pricing in a Transfer Document

The procedure described here is not a system procedure and thus is not distributed through upgrades and installations. It is available at ftp.datalab.si/sqli. This procedure harmonizes data from the calculation of the sale warehouse and the calculation of the receiving warehouse based on information in the Items register. It uses separate calculations of sale prices if these are available.

This procedure is intended for users who have satellite retail units, with every unit using and maintaining a different sale price calculation (using different retail/sale prices).

It is used if you have different databases (for the same central office) due to different retail locations which have different retail prices and post inventory bo retail price. Goods transfered from the central office are therefore outfitted with the sale price of the individual sales location.

Information about the purchases goods is obtained from the central office through a transfer document sent by the central office. Because it is created at the central office, it contains the sale price calculations used by the central office.

When the branch office imports the information (the transfer), it must first be outfitted with the retail/sale prices used by the branch office.

This is done using a wizard which will replace the prices with those recorded in the sales calculation of the Items register of the branch office in the transfer document. (This procedure records the retail and sale price for the first price class in the lines of the transfer document).

When this procedure is chosen from the Wizards menu, the retail and sale prices (no parameters are chosen for this process) are automatically fixed. The program will report when the operation has been completed.
