010383.gif

Selecting Components and Resources option in the Type of Change box (the Change tab of the Change Components and Resources window) displays the following criteria.

Set criteria in order to change a specific component or norm (in lines of materials and operations) for the selected specification group. Then proceed with selecting a component you want to change. Finally, set a new component or enter additional parameters in specifications.

Similar procedure is used when changing data in lines of operations where you can change item, name or resource of operations, regulations, tools, etc.

Refresh data generating a list of components you would like to replace in corresponding specifications.

Product Criteria

Item Enter or select a product ID to change product's component.
Name Enter or select a name of item.
Item Type Enter or select an item type.
Prim. Cat. Enter or select a primary category ID.
Secondary Categ. Enter or select a secondary category ID.

Component Criteria

Item Enter or select an item that you want to change in the selected group of specifications.
Name Enter or select a name of item.
Item Type Enter or select an item type.
Prim. Cat. Enter or select a primary category ID.
Secondary Categ. Enter or select a secondary category ID.
Resource Enter or select a resource ID.
Regulation Enter or select a regulation ID.

Tool Enter or select a tool.

Small Tool Enter or select a small tool.

New Component

Item Enter or select an item that you want to use in the selected specifications group.
Name Select a name of item linking it to the ID in the specified specification. It is wise to do this when modifying descriptions of operations. If left empty, the description from the Items register will be used by default.
Resource Specify a resource for the selected operation.

Additional Parameters

Volume Change Mode
  • Nominal - Select it to change volume to quantity specified.
  • Percentage- Select it to increase or decrease volume (by entering negative value) by the percentage specified.
Volume
Materials
Operations
Enter parameters related to lines of operations.
    • Tpr - Enter a new amount of production time (Tpr) expressed in percentage value.
    • Tpsu - Enter a new amount of set-up time (Tsu) expressed in percentage value.
Enter parameters related to lines of material.
    • Quantity - Enter it in order to change volume.
    • Scrap % - Enter a new amount of scrap expressed in percentage value.
    • Waste % - Enter a new amount of waste expressed in percentage value.
Enter or select a new amount of volume.

Clicking Refresh generates available data displaying them in the Change panel. Collapse or display the panel by clicking the icon.

Because a great number of data appears, only relevant data (material- or operation-related) is displayed.
