ID and Document Line in Serial Number

EXAMPLE:

It often happens that someone would want to edit the compound serial number so that it would contain ID and document line number.

One would want to use the compound serial number of the following format:

  • KKKKKKKK-LLLLDDDDDDD

where

KKKKKKKK - represents key (ID) of document of receiving

LLLL - line of document of receiving

DDDDDDD - date of manufacturing

So that one can provide such a structutre, two fields of the compound serial number shall be implemented:

  • KLJUCPOZ - to include key (ID) and line
  • DATUMIZD - to include date of manufacturing.

The KLJUCPOZ field can be formatted so that the default value is entered in the SQL statement:

  • KLJUCPOZ;select '#KLJUC#' + '-' + Cast(#POZ# as Char(4))
