Each column can be sorted in ascending or descending order and filters can be applied.

Sorting

Let us say that you would like to sort incidents by number.

Sort a column be clicking its header.

	A down-pointing arrow indicates that data in the column is sorted in descending order.
	Click again to sort data in ascending order. An up-pointing arrow indicates this.

Filtering

To apply a filter to a column, right-click its header or left click the down-pointing arrow that appears when hovering over a column header.

Filters can be applied to multiple columns. Columns with applied filters have a funnel icon in their header.

Filters vary and can sometimes be entered manually.

	Date columns offer a list of common (today, yesterday, last week, etc.) presets in the top drop-down list. Enter initial and end date. Separate date/month/year using a dash (-).
	Columns that show information from a closed set (statuses, persons, etc.; in effect anything that is selected from a list, not typed in) can be filtered in the manner of multi-select lists. Number of matching incidents will be displayed in bracket. Tick the checkboxes in front of the records that you want to include in the filter and click .

Set any given number of filters and criteria are added up (for example: filtering by date margins AND status).

Cancel filtering by clicking the funnel icon .
