Authorizations For Issue
Beside the general settings of
authorizations for
individual menu options and types of documents, you can also set the following
user authorizations for issue documents:

Allow Transactions on Outstanding Balance |
You can assign a user the least limited (Delete) or most
limited (none) authorization for the issue of goods if a customer has an
outstanding balance (see
Check Limit if Balance Outstanding).

Allow Changing already Posted
Lines |
You can assign a user the least limited (Delete) or
most limited (none) authorization for editing lines that have already
been posted. None authorization means that the user cannot edit posted
lines. |
Confirm Documents |
This authorization can be set generally or on the level of types of
documents (if you have imported them
beforehand). You can assign a user the least limited (Delete) or most
limited (none) authorization for confirming documents. Users with None
authorization cannot confirm documents.

Edit Approved Movements |
This
authorization is given generally or on the level of types of documents
(if you have imported them beforehand). An
individual user can be given the widest (Deleting) authorization or the
most narrow (Zero) authorization. Zero authorization means, that the
user can not edit approved documents.

documents (if you have imported them
beforehand). You can assign a user the least limited (Delete) or most
limited (none) authorization for editing approved movements. Users with
None authorization cannot edit approved movements.

Pricing |
A
user can be assigned any of the four authorization levels for viewing and
changing data in the
pricing of an issue documents. We
recommend you select Read authorization, which will prevent unintentional
mistakes that could otherwise occur when posting by retail prices
or creating commercial records. |

If the user does not have adequate
authorization for a
certain function, the program blocks the use of function and reports an
error (see You are not authorized for this
operation (xxx)!), with the lowest required authorization for the
function is displayed in parentheses. |

If the user does not have authorization or has zero authorization for an individual type of document, these documents
will not be displayed in calculations. |
