Starting a Remote Support Session

 
000001.gif PANTHEON build 2116 has built-in remote desktop support. If you use PANTHEON builds from 2109-2115, you can sign up by clicking What's New. When the browser opens and the web server is displayed, click Remote Desktop Support link on the left. However, the service is not available for builds older than 2109.

 

53258.png A Remote Desktop Support (RDS) session is started by selecting the Remote Support option in PANTHEON's Help menu. Internet connection must be established for this function to work.

 

A web browser window opens on Datalab's User Site section for Remote Support.

Into the Support Reason field enter in short why you are requesting remote support. Click Start Support.

You will be redirected to a page that will wait for the support provider to connect. If there is no response within 15 minutes the session is cancelled. You may cancel the session manually by clicking Cancel Support Request.

When the support provider is connected you will again be redirected ta a page saying that you are both connected. Click Please click here to start session.

To start session double-click Run.

The ISL Light Client opens up. Now you can start using remote support.
