Calculator

Agrometeorological data are as useful as they imply certain actions affected by meteorological conditions. It is known that vegetation is primary influenced by climatic conditions: air temperature, soil temperature, moisture (precipitation) etc. Additionally, other organisms, known as pests when they are harmful and dangerous to agriculture, such as diseases (fungi, bacteria, viruses, ...) or pests (animals, usually different "bugs" or "worms", ...) are highly conditioned to meteorological conditions.

Farming enables viewing meteorological data and Calculator enables certain analysis for the farmers.
Calculator analysis only data already synchronized and IN database. If there is no data for chosen period Calculator cannot perform analysis for the same period.

Calculator enables several search options:

a) Within time period: from - to option. Only one period per search.
b) Type: Meteorological conditions can be shown as SUM, AVERAGE, MIN or MAX.
c) Show: how do you want to view the analysis? As One per Chosen Period, per 10 days, per month or per year?
d) Stations: which stations (if you have more then one) do you want to investigate? If you activate on checkbox on "Divide stations" you will view data analysis for each station separately
e) Temperature Threshold: This is usually used when certain pest activity is wanted to forecast. For instance, different models shows that Codling Moth (Cydia Pomonella) needs certain sum of average daily temperatures for its development. Temperatures which are taken into account are for one model between 10 °C (lower threshold) and 35 °C (upper threshold). (Source: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19508800). For first generation appearance only temperatures under 10°C are taken into account.
"Negative temperatures": this is only meaningful on temperature SUM for deciduous fruits when negative winter temperatures are needed for flower buds to be fully matured.

When certain search conditions are set by clicking on  meteorological data are analyzed.

Prepared data can be further sorted or grouped as wished.
