ZEUS Installation Including Analysis Services 2005/2008

For ZEUS to function it is required you have OLAP server installed and follow the steps below:

1. Install server components
2. Create and process cubes
3. set security roles for OLAP server
4. set up clients
5. Set automatic cube processing
6. Assign authorizatons

After ZEUS installation is complete, regions can be optionally entered into the Postal Areas register.

Referential integrity is very important in ZEUS: If a record does not exist (e.g. an item does not exist in the register), ZEUS will not produce the same results as by using simple report. It is therefore recommended to run the referential integrity check before installing ZEUS!

Microsoft Analysis Services Server requires sufficient free disk space (approx. ten times the size of the PANTHEON database) to process cubes.   Example:The size of myDB.mdf is 1 GB, therefore Analysis Services requires approximately 10 GB of free space.
