Register - Fixed Assets in Acquisition

Fixed Assets in Acquisition refer to tangible assets that have been ordered and fully paid for but have not yet been delivered, installed, or put into service. These assets are still in the acquisition phase and are not yet recognized as active fixed assets or small tools on the company’s balance sheet. Common examples include machinery, vehicles, or equipment awaiting setup. Once the fixed asset is received and operational, it is transferred from the acquisition register to the active Fixed Assets or Small Tools register and capitalized accordingly.

The Register - Fixed Assets in Acquisition register in PANTHEON enables monitoring of the fixed assets’ in acquisition entire life cycle, including Acquisition, Depreciation Calculation, and Deactivation.

The Register - Fixed Assets in Acquisition register consists of similar fields as the Fixed Assets register, so its descriptions can be found in the Fixed Assets guide. Any differences between both registers, such as fields or options unique to the Register - Fixed Assets in Acquisition register, are also described in detail in the Fixed Assets register guide.

The register can be accessed from the menu Financials | Fixed Assets | Register - Fixed Assets in Acquisition.

Hint

Examples of how to use Register - Fixed Assets in Acquisition register are described on the corresponding pages of the User Manual for PANTHEON.
