List of item types

Among the registers linked to the Items register in PANTHEON Web Light, there is also an Item types register. Item types are important for defining the characteristics of different types of items (e.g. services, materials and other) and their entry in the register is mandatory.

This chapter describes how to view the lines in the list of item types and how to search, sort and filter data in the list.

CASE SUMMARY
The person responsible wants to see a list of the entered item types. Using the field Search, the person responsible wants to find the item type GOODS PACKAGE and check its data. Next, the person responsible wants to sort the item types by descending code and display only the item types of type B - Goods. This is done as follows:
- Opening the list of item types
- Searching for item types
- Sorting data in the list
- Filtering data in the list

1. Opening the list of item types
To open the Items register, the person responsible clicks Registers | Items from the main menu.
This opens the list of items, where the person responsible clicks the field Registers in the list header and selects Item types from the list.
This opens the list of item types.

2. Searching for item types
In the list of item types, you can quickly find the desired item type using the search field. In this case, the person responsible is searching for the item type Goods package.

WARNING
In the search field, you can search by code or name of the item type.

In the field Search in the list header, the person responsible enters the search string "goods".
All item types that start with the search string "goods" are displayed in the list.

Clicking on the blue code or name of the item type 203 - Goods package displays the data of the item type that can also be edited.

By clicking the icon X (Cancel) in the command line, the person responsible returns to the list of item types.
3. Sorting data in the list
The data in the list can be sorted ascending or descending in all three columns:
The person responsible wants to sort the displayed item types by descending code.
To do this, the person responsible clicks the field Type (code).
A new window appears where the person responsible selects the person responsible selects the Z-A icon
(Descending) from the list in the section Sorting. The codes will be sorted by value from largest to smallest or in descending alphabetical order.

4. Filtering data in the list
The data in the list can be filtered in all columns by specifying different conditions:
- Starts with
- Equal
- Empty
- Not empty
- Contains
- Does not contain
- Ends with
- Not equal
The person responsible wants to filter the data by item type so that only item types of type B - Goods are shown.
To do this, the person responsible clicks the field Type.
A new window appears, where the person responsible selects the condition Starts with from the list of the field Filter by condition.
In the empty field, the person responsible enters B and confirms the filter by clicking the button Submit.

Only item types B - Goods are displayed and sorted in descending order by code.
