List of tax rates

The Tax rates register is used for the correct calculation and posting of value added tax (VAT). It contains all the types of taxes and their tax rates at which goods are bought or sold. This makes it quick and easy to use the tax rates and reduces the possibility of errors in calculations.

This chapter shows how to use the Tax rates register to search for a specific tax rate.

CASE SUMMARY
The person responsible wants to search for the tax rate for goods on which VAT is charged at 22% and check whether the tax rate is active, i.e. ready for use. This is done as follows:
- Opening the list of tax rates
- Searching for tax rates
- Filtering data in the list

1. Opening the list of tax rates
To open the Tax rates register, the person responsible clicks Registers | Tax rates from the main menu. This opens the Tax rates register, where all tax rates entered in the program are displayed.

2. Searching for tax rates
The person responsible wants to search for the tax rate for goods on which VAT is charged at 22%. To do this, the person responsible starts typing the text "goods" in the field Search.
The program updates the data in the list so that it meets the entered criteria.

3. Filtering data in the list
The person responsible wants to further narrow down the data set to show only the lines with 22% tax rate. To do this, the person responsible defines a filtering condition to sort the data by column.
In the column % VAT, the person responsible clicks the arrow down icon
and selects the option Contains in the field Filter by condition.
Then, the person responsible enters 22 in the empty field.
To confirm the filter, the person responsible clicks the button Submit.

The program updates the data in the list so that it meets the entered criteria.
