This chapter shows how to use the Payment methods register to search for a payment method.

CASE SUMMARY
The person responsible wants to search for all payment methods where the Method is set to G (cash). This is done as follows:
- Opening the list of payment methods
- Searching and filtering the data in the list

1. Opening the list of payment methods
To open the Payment methods register, the person responsible clicks Registers | Payment methods from the main menu. This opens the Payment methods register, where all payment methods entered in the program are displayed.

HINT
You can search the entire list using the field Search. Entering any character in this field searches the entire list for the entered character and returns a matching result.

2. Searching and filtering the data in the list
The person responsible wants to search for all payment methods in the list where the Method is set to G (Cash). To do this, the person responsible sorts the data by specifying a filtering condition in the column Method.
In the column Method, the person responsible clicks the arrow down icon 
and selects the option Contains in the field Filter by condition.
In the empty field, the person responsible enters "g", which refers to cash payments.
To confirm the filter, the person responsible clicks the button Submit.
The program updates the data in the list so that it meets the entered criteria.
