Setting up a user for Work records

For Work records and timer in PANTHEON Web Light to work properly, you first need to set up the user correctly in the PANTHEON database.

WARNING

The timer can only be activated by a logged-in user who is entered into the Employees register and has the same contact selected in the PANTHEON database in the Employee Files as in the Authorizations on the user.

This chapter shows how to set up the user for the correct operation of Work records in PANTHEON Web Light.

CASE SUMMARY

For the user Pat Purchase, the person responsible wants to define the settings required to activate the timer and Work records in PANTHEON Web Light. In PANTHEON, the person responsible defines the necessary settings in the Employee Files and in the Administration Panel. This is done as follows:

1. Setting up Employee Files

For the user Pat Purchase, the person responsible wants to define the settings required to activate Work records and the timer in PANTHEON Web Light. For this purpose, the person responsible must first set the user's contact person.

From the main menu in PANTHEON, the person responsible selects the module Personnel | Employee Files.

Next, the person responsible clicks the three dots icon in the toolbar.

From the list of users, the person responsible selects Pat Purchase.

This opens the Employee Files of the user Pat Purchase.

From the drop-down list of the field Contact, the person responsible selects Pat Purchase as the contact person.

The person responsible saves the change by clicking the toolbar button (Post edit).

Next, the person responsible needs to select the same contact person for the user Purchase in the PANTHEON Administration Panel as well.

2. Setting up Administration panel

From the main menu in PANTHEON, the person responsible selects the module Settings | Program | Administration Panel.

In the window Administration Panel, the person responsible clicks the arrow down icon to open the following menus: Users and Groups | Users and select the user PURCHASE - Pat Purchase.

From the drop-down list of the field Subject, the person responsible selects the user's subject: Tecta Plc.

From the drop-down list of the field Contact/clerk, the person responsible selects the user Pat Purchase.

WARNING

If the contact person is not selected in the Employee files in PANTHEON, the timer cannot be activated.

The person responsible saves the change by clicking the diskette button  (Confirm) in the toolbar.
