Running Several Tasks At Once

Tasks can be created by the users themselves, redirected to them by a superior, or they can be created from business processes. Tasks can be managed by being run and carrying out the necessary activities. We can run several tasks at once, and the process will lead us through the necessary activities.

HINT

For more about tasks, see chapter To-Do in the Technical Guide.

The following is a use case of running several open tasks at once.

CASE SUMMARY

On the list, the person responsible has several tasks that they want to carry out. For this purpose, they will start with the activities for several tasks at once.

The person responsible does this in the following manner:

  1. Selecting all tasks
  2. Running several tasks at once

1. Selecting all tasks

The person responsible wants to run several open tasks at once.

For this purpose, the person responsible right-clicks on the Mark field. A list with different options is displayed to the person responsible.

In this case, the person responsible selects: Select all.

All tasks are selected, as can be seen in the image below.

The person responsible continues to the running of tasks.

2. Running several tasks at once

To run all selected open tasks at once, the person responsible clicks the Run button.

The process of carrying out the tasks according to the predefined steps of each business process begins.

HINT

In case you no longer want to continue carrying out tasks that you have run or you want to change the order of carrying out the tasks, see chapter Skipping or Stopping Tasks.
