Entry of dental diagnosis

In the register of dental diagnoses, we can add any number of diagnoses that we need when establishing the diagnosis of a dental examination of an animal.

TIP

Guide to the Register of Dental Diagnoses

In this chapter, we will present an example of manually entering a new dental diagnosis into the register.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EXAMPLE

The veterinarian wants to enter a new diagnosis into the register of dental diagnoses that he has established for the selected animal. During the dental examination, he diagnosed caries in the selected animal. He enters the newly established diagnosis into the register by following these steps:

  1. Opening Dental Diagnosis
  2. Entering a new dental diagnosis

1. Opening Dental Diagnosis

The responsible person selects the menu Veterinary | Registers | Dental Diagnoses.

The register with already entered dental diagnoses opens.

Continues with the manual entry of a new record.

2. Entering a new dental diagnosis

The responsible person can position themselves at the end of the list of diagnoses and by clicking the navigation key on the keyboard   (Down) creates a new position or record or by clicking the key INSERT.

In our case, due to the large number of positions or records, they can position themselves at any position and click the key INSERT to create a new record.

In the column Code specifies the code; in our case, the diagnoses are recorded in English, so they enter: CA in the code field.

In the column Diagnosis defines the name of the dental diagnosis they want to create. They manually enter: Caries.

The switch in the column Adefines whether the diagnosis is active or not. When entering a new record, the switch is automatically marked as active.

Entering the dental diagnosis is saved by clicking the navigation keys on the keyboard  (Down) and (Up).

TIP

Deleting a record or position is possible with the key combination CTRL + DELETE.
