Link form and DMS Archive

The Link form and DMS Archive form enables you to define links between PANTHEON forms, classifications and archives.

The link defines the connection between an archive (e.g. DMS0) and a PANTHEON form (e.g. the Subjects register). This connection specifies that when documents are imported into Documentation using the Subjects register form, they will always be placed in the defined archive.

This form is shown only the first time when you import a document into a specific form as the link must be defined.

You can check and edit links in Step 8, Links to form and archive, of the Setup Wizard, found in Settings | Program | Administration panel | Settings | Documentation.

Here is a description of the form and its individual elements.

Form	Shows the name of the form which the document was imported to. This field is read-only and cannot be changed.
Archive	Select an archive from the drop-down list. When importing a document to a form, the selected archive document type is assigned to the document.
Classification	Select the classification from the drop-down list of classifications or by clicking the   (magnifier) icon to search for it using the search engine. When importing a document to a form, the document is classified according to the selected classification.
Confirm	By clicking the button, you save the selected settings.
Cancel	Cancels the settings and closes the form.
