ePosting machine learning (ePost Feedback)

The eWorkflow enables machine learning of the OCR scanning process. It can be imagined as a robot that teaches a system how to properly recognize the content of scanned invoices.

The scanner reads the PDF format of the invoice and sends it to the user as an e-invoice. When the user imports the invoice, checks it and potentially changes some data upon the import, feedback is sent to the scanner to inform it that part of its reading was incorrect.

Using artificial intelligence, the robot makes sure that the invoice from the same supplier is much easier to be read properly next time. The system learns with each scanning. After each user feedback, it reads the data better and becomes more and more accurate.

The predefined eWorkflow is part of a set of eWorkflows that enable the operation of the ePosting system, as shown in the flow chart below.

The eWorkflow ePosting machine learning works as a support process that starts automatically.

WARNING For ePosting to work properly, the service must first be activated. For more information, see the chapter Activating the ePosting Service. Activating the ePosting service is a one-time process. If you have already done this, you can skip this step.

The eWorkflow structure is shown in the flow chart below.

The eWorkflow is ready to use when transferred using the Web Service and no additional settings are required.
