Disable sending SMS for the selected subject

Sending SMS messages to clients enables direct communication about appointment schedules, vaccinations, as well as notifications about received items and sales promotions. It may happen that a client declines or does not wish to receive SMS messages.

For the purpose of disabling SMS message sending to the selected subject, there is a functionality available located on the tab SMS for sending, on the form Sending SMS messages.

Below, we have prepared a user example for you on how to use the functionality to disable SMS message sending for the selected subject.

CASE DESCRIPTION

The administrator at the reception of the veterinary clinic Bestia sends weekly SMS messages with notifications about scheduled animal appointments with the veterinarian as well as sales promotions. Through email, they were informed that the client Tomaž Tornjak does not wish to be notified via SMS messages. For this purpose, they will remove the client from the list so that SMS messages will no longer be sent to them. This is done through the following steps:

  1. Review the list of pending SMS messages for sending
  2. Disable sending SMS messages for the selected subject

1. Review the list of pending SMS messages for sending

The responsible person first wants to check the list of prepared SMS messages intended for sending to clients.

  • They open the form Sending SMS messages by clicking the button on the form Reception (  SMS List). On the tab,
  • SMS for sending , which is open by default, all SMS messages that have not yet been sent are visible.2.

Disable sending SMS messages for the selected subject In the list, they see a pending message for the subject Tomaž Tornjak, who requested not to receive SMS messages in the future.

They disable message sending by right-clicking on the position of the message for the selected subject (in our case, Tomaž Tornjak).

  • Disable sending SMS for the selected subject, the message is deleted from the list and moved to the tab Do not send SMS. TIP

By default, all pending messages are selected for sending.
  1. If you want to return the subject to the list for sending, read the chapter
  2. Enable sending SMS for the selected subject. WARNING

A message that

is not selected for sending will no longer be visible in the list after clicking the button Refresh . RELATED CONTENT:
