Adding Purchase Orders Including Serial Numbers to Customs Warehouse

000001.gif For a general treatment of advanced features with serial numbers in the customs warehouse see assigning serial numbers in customs warehouse.

Having specified serial numbers in purchase order, they are entered accordingly when using Add Lines/Orders function. During the transfer process they are automatically ASSIGNED the obligatory serial number part (document ID and line number) when entering in warehouses. There are created as many lines for entering in customs warehouse as there are lines in purchase order.

Example:

I) Let us assume you have issued a purchase order for 100 items. That is, 50 items including batch serial number (product variant) 52 and the remaining 50 items including serial number 54.

Serial numbers contained in the order:

Serial Number Quantity
52 50 pcs
54 50 pcs

II) Using the Add Lines/Orders function you receive 100 items with the 07900000001 document. That is, 50 pieces including batch serial number 52 (product variant) and 50 pieces including the serial number 54. A line of the entering to customs warehouse including serial numbers is created automatically:

Serial Number Quantity
52=04900000001-1 50 pcs
54=04900000001-1 50 pcs
