Drag&Drop animal movement

Animal movement with drag and drop

Animals can be moved between groups on graphical overview by dragging and dropping.

When list of animals appear in the bottom right corner, animals can be selected using Excel functions:

  • Click on animal selects individual animal.
  • Ctrl + click on animal selects few animals.
  • Ctrl + a selects all animals.

Selected animals are colored green.

By dragging one of the selected animals to another group all animals will be moved. Animals cannot be moved to empty space between groups or to the same group.

Icon seen below will appear in suitable group (one icon if one animal is moved, three icons for multiple animals).

Once mouse button is released IRIS message will appear. Functionalities of IRIS message are explained in LINK. User can either move animals with predefined settings of can open movement window and edit details about movement.
