Authorizations for Departments

Authorizations for Departments and Warehouses

A user can be assigned authorizations for editing departments, working on and modifying the documents and lines where that department is contained. You can assign different levels of authorizations: that is, from write to zero authorizations.

Permissions when creating new department or warehouse

 

  • Authorization also affects the panel section Department and Warehouse in the Subjects register. In case of None permission, sections are disabled.
  • Usergroup "administrators" is set to full permissions for newly created department or warehouse.
  • All members of "administrators" usergroup full permissions for newly created department or warehouse are set.
  • User which created new department or warehouse full permissions are set.
  • All other usergroups (other than "administrators") are set permissions on new department or warehouse as they are set on authorizations.
  • All other users are set permissions on new department or warehouse as they are set on authorizations.

 

000001.gif If a user is assigned zero authorizations for the Subjects register, the following message is returned when trying to update documents "You are not authorized for this operation (read)". You must at least assign read authorizations for departments.
000001.gif Regardless of the assigned zero authorizations for specific departments and checked Hide Restricted Types from Unauthorized Users, the departments are visible in Subjects.
000001.gif Days cannot be set when assigning authorizations for departments.
