Backup and backup restore

Backup

In the menu Settings – Backup you can create a backup of the application via:

  • Cloud backup
  • USB backup
  • E-mail backup

Backup Creation Procedure and Data Restore

Creating a backup is important because it enables safer business conduct. In case of data loss, the backup can be used to restore business data back to the last known state. To create a backup, go to Settings after logging in.

A new menu opens up with the general application settings. Select the Backup option. A window with three options appears. Data backup enables:

  • Make cloud backup
  • Make backup to USB stick
  • Make backup to e-mail

Cloud backup:

This option enables data backup in the cloud. To begin the cloud backup press the Make cloud backup button.

When you press the button, a new window opens, displaying the backup process.

When the process is concluded, the following message appears:

The backup process is complete. If you want to restore your data from the backup, press the Restore from backup button.

A new window opens, warning you that by restoring data you will lose all changes you've made. If you agree, press OK.

When OK is pressed, the data restoration process begins.

If data restore was successful, the following notification appears on the lower part of the screen: "Cloud restore was successful."

USB Backup

This application option enables creating a local USB backup. You can start the process in the same way as you've done when creating a cloud backup. Tap Make backup to USB stick.

By pressing the button, a new window opens. Enter a backup password that will later be used to restore your data.

When you enter the password, a window opens with a directory tree and folders, where you want to save your backup. The folder contents open. If you want to save the backup in the selected folder, press the Select button in the top right corner.

The app returns you to the menu with the backup settings. To restore information, you can select the Restore from backup button.

Another directory tree with folders opens. Open the folder you selected to save your backup. As you can see in the picture, we've already created two backups.

When we select the desired backup, a new window opens, warning you that by restoring data you will lose all changes you've made. If you agree press OK.

In the next step, the app will ask for your password (the one you created when you made the backup). Press OK after entering the password.

When restore has been completed, the app will inform you that the data restore was successfully completed.

E-mail backup

The third option is creating a backup via e-mail. The procedure is the same as in the other two opens. Tap Make backup to e-mail

The app will ask you to create a password. This is the password you will use when restoring data and you need to remember it. Press OK.

After pressing OK, a new window with different options opens. Select the application to be used for sending the backup to your e-mail.

When you've selected an option, the following message appears:
