In PANTHEON's Administration Panel, go to ZEUS | Administration.

Follow the instruction for processing cubes using Analysis Services 2005.

Specify the name of the computer where OLAP is installed (Analysis Services 2005).

Specify the name of the OLAP database. You can change it at will, but it is recommended that it has the same name as the PANTHEON database. This is wise if the server hosts multiple databases (e.g. from different companies). PANTHEON and OLAP database pairs can then be quickly determined.

Not having created any cubes yet, the tree structure of the OLAP server is empty. To process the cubes follow the instructions for processing cubes using Analysis Services 2005. The cube creation log is shown in the box below the Process button.

The time it takes to process all cubes depends on the amount of data and computer speed. With large amounts of data, processing may take a few hours!

An error can occur trying to process cubes on OLAP server: To find solution see errors occurring in processing cubes.

After the cubes are processed, PANTHEON is ready to run analyses. Note that the data used for analyses is as it was at the last processing. To keep analyses up-to-date and thus accurate, automatic cube processing should be enabled.

Cubes need to be re-created after every upgrade. It is recommended to use automatic processing which is run automatically with the adequate setting.
