ZEUS dashboards are used for quick overview of KPI's or other customized parameters. They are composed from dashboard components.

PANTHEON has two types of dashboards:

  1. Out-of-the-box dashboards which are pre-defined and already inserted in the database
  2. Custom database that are created by user himself either from pre defined components or from custom components.

Before you start working with dashboards, you have some settings/options that will help you with your work with dashboard.

Data prefetching

Dashboards do not awalys refreshed themselves when you open them. Reason for this is large selection of data that they have to process. Therefore you have to prefetch your data before opening your dashboard. In some cases software will warn you about this with IRIS message (if you open out.of.the.box dashboard for the first time) or you can do this manually. Either way you have to prefetch data in administration panel.

Click HERE to learn more about data prefetching.

Set your dashboard as default dashboard

Dashboards enable you to set them as default on opening. This enables you to review dashboard with desired data immediately on opening your PANTHEON. You can do this with out-of-the-box dashboards or custom dashboards. In this section you have two options:

  1. Set one dashboard as default for all users.

Open desired dashboard and click button edit.  On editable window select checkbox default  and save dashboard. This dashboard will now open each time you start PANTHEON.

  1. Set default dashboard for each user.

Open Administration panel|ZEUS|Dashboard|General. Under default dashboards you will see a list of users that are added to this database and you can set them default database in column Default dashboards. Now each user will have its own default dashboard.

Click HERE to learn more about default dashboards.

Using parameters to work with dashboards

You can define different parameter to your shortcuts that will simplify work with your dashboards. You can for example prefetch data for all/selecte/one dashboard when you start PANTHEON.

Click HERE to learn more about defining parameters for dashboards.

Working with dashboards in different languages

PANTHEON dashboards enable you to view your data in different languages. This could be especially useful if you (for example) have your manager from different country and he would like to have his data in his own language.

To define language of dashboards, you first have to add new user and set his default language. If you leave language as default, no changes will be made.

Once users are added, you have to upgrade you database again. This way system will transfer correct dashboard translation to your database. Dashboard only has to be upgraded again if you choose different language (e.g.: iUser1 has default (EU) language and User2 has SI. If you add User3 with SI language, no upgrade is needed. If User3 has HR language than upgrade is needed).

After all these steps are preformed, user will be able to see dashboards in his own language.
