Selecting the Add tab in the Change Components and Resources window displays following criteria.

Product Criteria

Criteria for a Component Being Added:

Having entered a component additional fields appear according to item type:

Type S or U – Operation:

Tpr Enter production time required for assembly.
Tsu Enter set-up time required for production of specified quantities expressed in the selected U/M - assembly series. It handles of fixed production time required for preparation of resources in series production.
U/M: Enter or select a time unit in which to express production time.
Batch Displays number of units in batch (number of units of measurement, charge, the minimum required production amount - actual production amount must be its multiplier). You can modify if required.
Volume Enter or select number of units in assembly for which production time was set ranging from 1 to 1,000,000 units. That is, if you select 1,000 units, the production time is expressed for production of 1000 units. Here is by default displayed volume in operations as set in program parameters of Administration Panel.
(U/M) Enter or select a time unit in which to express production time. Select it according to the specification's settings.
Quantity Enter quantity expressed in unit of measurement for external operations.

Volume Enter or select a unit of production. The field is visible with operation of external type.
U/M Enter or select a unit of measurement. The field is visible with operation of external type.
Operation Type Enter or select a type of operation: Work Operation which is intended for specifying regular operations; Fictional Operation which is intended for specifying any optional information regarding work and control operations; Control Operation which is intended for checking quality control; External Operation which is intended for specifying operations that are outsourced to external subcontacting entities.
Offset Type Enter or select a type of offset (between previous operation and the one in question) in workflow sequence: Simultaneously to previous - an operation type defining the sequence between the previous and the operation in question; After previous has finished - an operation type carried out after the previous has finished; Time offset - an operation type carried out after you enter working hours in the field appearing after having selected this option. That is, Tpr of the previous operation must be less or equal to the Tpr of the operation in question; Quantity Offset - Basically the same as with Time offset option the only difference being that time offset per product quantity is considered for previous operation (offset = quantity × Tpr previous).
(Time Offset/quantity) An optional field appears after having selected time or quantity offset type. Enter the appropriate amounts.
Resource Set a production resource for operation. Enter or select it from available criteria such as ID, type, name or parent resource ID.
No. of Workers Optional field: When executing an operation select number of resoruces in order to calculate production costs.
Salary Grade Optional field: When executing an operation select a salary grade for employees to be able to calculate production costs.
Bonus Optional field: When executing an operation, select a bonus in order to calculate production costs.

Not S or U Type – Material:

Quantity Enter quantity in specification. It is expressed in the primary unit of measurement.
Volume Enter or select number of units ranging from 1 to 1,000,000 units. The volume of materials, as set in Program Parameters in Administration Panel, is set by default.
Batch Displays number of units in batch (number of units of measurement, charge, the minimum required production amount - actual production amount must be its multiplier). You can modify if required. The required production amount is given for batch specific U/M (number).
U/M Enter or select a unit of measurement used with item. The lookup table includes units of measurement as defined in the Items register: That is, primary U/M which is the main unit, secondary U/M that can be set by the collective U/M and customs U/M which is tertiary.
Srap % Enter scrap in % value of the entire quantity required. It is visible if you previously set it in Administration Panel.
Waste % Enter waste in % value of the entire quantity required. It is only visible if you set it in Administration Panel.

Clicking Refresh generates available data displaying them in Add Components and Resources panel in the bottom. Collapse or display the panel by clicking the icon.

Here are listed other items already included in the specification.

Sel. If checked, it marks a line to be added. Otherwise not. Check it by double-clicking the box. You can also use the right-click menu:
