Information about the department and cost center can also be entered later in the document lines or in the journal entry line. To do this, you can use the Fill-in Center and Department wizard:

Document The internal number of the document to which departments and cost centers will be copied.
Cost Ctr. The ID of the cost center that will be copied to the lines of the document selected in the Document field (see above). Choose a cost center from the look-up list. By default, the program will display the ID of the cost center in the line that was active when you launched the Fill-in Cost Centers and Departments wizard.
Department The ID of the department that will be copied to the lines of the document selected in the Document field (see above). Choose a department from the look-up list. By default, the program will display the ID of the department in the line that was active when you launched the Fill-in Cost Centers and Departments wizard.
Fill In To Select how the program will fill in the cost center and department in the lines of the document:
  • All- The department and/or cost center ID selected here will be copied to all lines of the document (including lines where information about the department and/or cost center has already been entered.
  • Where Emp- The department and/or cost center ID selected here will be copied to all lines of the document where a department and/or cost center has not yet been entered.
Fill In What Select which information you would like to fill in in the the document lines:
  • Cost Center- select this option if you would like to copy the cost center to the document lines;
  • Department- select this option if you would like to copy the department to the document lines;

If you select both options, both the cost center and department entered here will be copied to the document lines.

Fill In This button will copy the information about the department and cost center to the document lines. Before you copy the selected information, the program will ask you to confirm the operation: Do you want to fill-in the selected cost center/department?
