You can search for an item in the document line by using the CTRL+F key combination.

According to predefined settings, the program will by the selection of an item display the ID, name, status and item prices. 

If you would like to change predefined settings, you have to determine your settings in this panel:

When you will change search settings, you will have to re-logon (CTRL-U) in order to activate new settings!
000001.gif With authorizations you can define searching for items on the level of an individual user as well (for more information see personal settings)!

Special examples on assigning IDs (i.e. EAN/UCC 128, quantity or serial number in code, ...) are further described in the chapter Advanced assigning of Identifiers!
