Chart View

The component of the Dashboard can also be represented in chart view, displaying different values. 

 The chart window is divided into the following sections:

  • Top row contains data like component ID (No.) and chart type.
  • Top left section contains fields where component name and description are entered as well as preview section
  • Top right section contains SQL box where yoiu can set the corresponding SQL Query. You check the 38301.gif Prefetch Data checkbox for prefetching data for a specific component. By clicking the Apply SQL button performs SQL Query.
  • Bottom left section cotains settings for Chart Type that enables you to select the type of chart (Line Chart - Vertical, Line Chart - Horizontal, Area Chart - Vertical, Area Chart - Horizontal, Scatterplot, Column Chart - Vertical, Column - Horizontal or Pie Chart). It also contains Link Data that enables you to create links between data and chart axis (you can set which data you want to see displayed on the X-axis and which on the Y-axis).
  • Bottom right section contains different setting: Sort Axes to sort data on X or Y axis, Filter, to set fiter on component and General, where you select if you want to see chart in 3D, show key on the chart, use different color, show values in field or use drill down on chart. This section also contains button Advanced to access advanced settings and button Show to preview the component.
