If you've used the Customs Warehouse module to
create a customs declaration for a freight forwarder, enter the information from the SAD as
delivered by the freight forwarder. The program will collect all receiving
documents in the home warehouse, which:
- were created from daily issues from the customs
warehouse using the Add Movement function. This is the only way to
guarantee that information from the customs declaration and from the
receipt at the home warehouse are linked
- the Import purchase method is selected
This will complete the costing of the receipt of customs goods at a
wholesale warehouse (see Receiving Goods from a Customs
Warehouse) with information about the correct value of the calculated
customs duty and VAT and the correct tax base for VAT
records.
What do you need to do?
Issue slips from a customs warehouse which have also been added to the goods
module for the sake of calculating the correct purchase value using functions
for adding movements are collected in a customs
registration.
First, enter information about the SAD. This information is copied from the
registration you've received (and includes the sender, declarant, currency,
exchange rate, customs procedure, origin, type of business...). In short, open a
new header for a document that does not yet have lines.
Click the Create Lines button to open a window for
selecting documents to link to SAD lines.
Enter the number of the customs registration and click the Find
button. The program will find all receipts from a
customs warehouse into the goods module which are linked to this customs
registration.
Click the Link Doc. button to
link the SAD with receipts into the goods module.
Continue by creating taxes and confirming the costing as described in the
SAD
- Import chapter.
 |
If you've selected the Customs Registrations Based on Receiving option in
Administration Panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Goods | General, the
exchange rate that appears on the customs registration will be used for the SAD
(which is in this case equal to the exchange rate on the SAD for storage in the
customs warehouse).
If not, the
exchange rates from the customs warehouse will be
used.

 |
If an SAD for storage in a customs warehouse already exists for
the goods you are importing through a customs registration (entering into free
circulation) and cost information has been entered in section 44, the
information from the SAD for storage in a customs warehouse will be
proportionately transfered to the SAD for entry into free circulation (for a
comparison see
Calculating a Customs Warehouse - Detailed by Customs
Tariff). |
