There are two ways to issue serial numbers:

• automatically
• manually

1.Automatically Issuing Serial Numbers

You can set the automatic issue of serial numbers in the setting for an individual document type - the program will automatically assign available serial numbers to the items.

When you click the Serial # button on the issue document, the automatically chosen serial numbers will appear in the lines of the document. Of course, these can be manually fixed or changed.

2. Manually Issuing Serial Numbers

When manually issuing serial numbers, the window for selecting serial numbers will appear once a quantity has been entered in the line of the issue document. You can choose from serial numbers that are available for this warehouse.

Double click (in the left panel of the window) to choose a serial number.

This will update the following fields:

• Required Amount (quantity entered in the line of the issue document)
• Quantity (items that already have a serial number)
• Difference (the number of items that require serial numbers)

When you choose the necessary number of serial numbers, this window will appear:
