By starting the logon window you can quickly change the current user without needing to close the window and open it once again. You can use it during the actual work so as to provide protection against unauthorized users. The following 005059.gif005060.gif key combination serves as a shortcut.

If you want to log in the program as another user, you can do this in the following two ways. Select the option that can be found in the main menu.

The same can be done by following the above-mentioned shortcut 005059.gif005060.gif.

When the logon window appears you can change users (usually represented by the user's initials)

and then entering the password that was assigned to the person that tries to log in.

You can change the password by clicking the Change button on the right. A form for changing the password appears.

Enter the existing password to the Old Password field. And a new one to the New Password field which you then also re-enter in the Confirm New Password field.

By clicking the Confirm button you confirm the new password. Or by clicking the Cancel button you can reject it together with any changes made.

After you entered the user together with the password, you also select the database which you want to access from the dropdown menu.

Only those databases to which you access are displayed in the database list.

If you cannot find the database you require, you can try by refreshing the list of databases by simply clicking the Refresh button on the right. Please contact the server administrator if even this does not help.

By clicking the Logon button you can access database and logon. By clicking the Quit button you can quit logging on.

You are asked once more to confirm if you really want to quit the program.

By clicking the Yes button you quit the program and close the logon window. By clicking the No button you return to the logon window.
