Menu

Menu tab allows to customize PANTHEON main menu in general.
The form can be accessed from the Administration Panel, by clicking the Menu panel.

WARNING
By changing/modifying menu, changes are instantly copied to all users's menu.

The form is made up of certain elements, which we describe below.
1.
In this section, you can set name menu item, shortcut and other general settings for PANTHEON menu.
Text
|
The name of the menu item as it is displayed in the menu.
|
Shortcut
|
The keyboard shortcut to the menu item. Shortcut can be set only for custom menus. Shortcut cannot be set for system menus.

Tip
|
The tip that is displayed in the status bar when hovering over the menu item with the mouse.
|
Authorization
|
The authorization that should apply to the menu item.
|
Type
|
The type of the menu item, which can be:
- Standard Selection
- Wizard
- External Program
- Menu Item

In this section, you can edit PANTHEON menu in general.
A detailed description of the elements and functionalities on the form is described in section Menu on individual user panel in Users.
In PANTHEON menu tree structure for menu in general in last column is field Custom (and not Permission).
Custom |
Checkbox is enabled ( ), if there new menu item is created.

HINT
You can change the order in the menu tree structure using the 'drag&drop' method.

A detailed description of the functionalities is described in section Menu on individual user panel in Users.
Adding functionalities with right click on the tree structure view contains the following options.
Add Sibling
|
Adds a new item on the same level as the selected item.
|
Add Child
|
Adds a new item one level below the selected item, i.e. it creates a submenu.

Add line
|
Adds ne line for menu item in PANTHEON menu tree structure.

HINT
Custom checkbox will be check automatically.

Delete |
Deletes the selected item.
|
 |
WARNING
If there is no document type in the Document types register under a certain heading then the menu items will not be displayed in the program main menu, however, menu headings are still displayed in the menu settings in Administration Panel.
