Treatment

 

In this tab, you enter all relevant data from the medical examination of the animal. The appearance of this tab depends on the treatment type. If individual treatment is selected, then a list of animals is shown on top of the tab.

1. Individual Treatment Appearance

Tab Treatment:

Here you enter data for individual animals.

2. Group Treatment Appearance

Here you enter data for all selected animals.

3. Functions 

The following functions are available:

New  Add the new date record. Right mouse click on the button New to show the list of protocols.
Save  Saves the changed data in this tab.
Cancle  Cancels all changes made since the last save.
Delete  Deletes data from this tab for selected animals.
Line Sequence number of the record.
Date Date of entry which is editable.
Veterinarian On the left side of treatment when we have a daily date, we can also enter data about the veterinarian. This column is optional. This means that we can choose from the "Select column".
Department On the left side of treatment when we have a daily date, we can also enter data about the Department. This column is optional. This means that we can choose from the "Select column".
Adding Medical History  Adds predefined texts from the medical history register. If the note field is empty, then the description is transferred.
Adding Diagnosis Adds predefined texts from the diagnosis register. If the note field is empty, then the description is transferred.
Adding Clionical examination Adds predefined texts from the clinical examinations register. If the note field is empty, then the description is transferred.
Adding Guidelines  Adds predefined texts from the guidelines register. If the note field is empty, then the description is transferred.
Adding withdrawal Adds predefined texts from the withdrawal notification register. If the note field is empty, then the description is transferred.
Veterinary note Information of the veterinarian's note

 

HINT

The treatment can now be seen as a hospital. This means that we can enter several consecutive days of treatments for one treatment.

4. Data

Medical History Select or enter the text for medical history.

Diagnosis

Select or enter text for diagnosis.

Status Praesens
Temperature Enter animal temperature during examination.
Pulse Enter animal pulse during examination.
Breathing Enter animal breathing during examination.
Weight Enter animal weight during examination.
Note Enter additional observations concerning the status of the animal during the examination.

Withdrawal Period

 

 

Add Withdrawal From the code books we can choose withdrawal
Add days If the waiting period is longer than prescribed, enter the extension in days in this field.

Milk days

Enter days of milk withdrawal period.

Meat days

Enter days of meat withdrawal period.

Organ days

Enter days of organ withdrawal period.

Eggs days Enter days of eggs withdrawal period.
Honey days Enter days of honey withdrawal period.
Including Until when the withdrawal period lasts.

Note

Enter note for waiting period.

 

Hospital:

 

GENERAL  
Urine If the animal has urinated, enter it in this field. Enter the information for the morning and afternoon.

Stool

If the animal has pooped, enter it in this field. Enter the information for the morning and afternoon.

Vomiting

If the animal has vomiting, enter it in this field. Enter the information for the morning and afternoon.

Water

If an animal drinks the water, enter it in this field. Enter the information for the morning and afternoon.

Food (diet) If an animal is on a food diet, enter it in this field. Enter the information for the morning and afternoon.
Eats by Itself If an animal eats by itself, enter it in this field. Enter the information for the morning and afternoon.
Assisted feeding If an animal needs assisted feeding, enter it in this field. Enter the information for the morning and afternoon.

Call

If we call the owner, we will check this option.

Walk If we walk the animal, we enter data in this field.
DIAGNOSTICS  
Hemogram If we do a blood test, we check this option.
Urinogram If we do a urinalysis, we check this option.
Biochemistry If we do a biochemical analysis, we check this option.
X-ray If we do an X-ray of an animal, we check this option.
US If we do an ultrasound of an animal, we check this option.
INFUSION  
NaCl (0,9%) If the animal is on an infusion and NaCl (09%) was used, select this option.
Ringer sol. If the animal is on an infusion of Ringer's solution. was used, select this option.
Ringer lac. If the animal is on an infusion of Ringer's Lactate. was used, select this option.
Hartm. sol. If the animal is on an infusion and Hartmann's solution was used, select this option.
Dexstrose 5% If the animal is on an infusion and Dextrose 5% was used, select this option.
Dexstrose 10% If the animal is on an infusion and 10% dextrose was used, select this option.
Sust. If we just maintain the status quo, select this option
Colloid sol. If the animal is on an infusion and a colloid solution was used, select this option.
Therapy AM Enter about therapy in the morning, if we do any.
Therapy PM Enter about therapy in the afternoon, if we do any.
Click on this button, and we print the data of the hospital.

 

WARNING

If we extend the waiting period by entering the add days field, the sum of the regular and extended periods is printed on the report together with the calculated date until which the waiting period lasts.
