Periods

You can use the feature Periods to define the periods with rules that are apply to the working hours, compulsory attendance, snacks and breaks for each Work schedule. The periods apply at company level. The settings for periods in PANTHEON Web Light can be accessed in the module Settings | Work records | Periods.

This chapter shows how to edit periods for a working schedule in PANTHEON Web Light.

CASE SUMMARY

The person responsible wants to define periods for the RDH work schedule in the company. Th person responsible opens the settings for periods, selects the RDH work schedule and starts editing the periods. This is done as follows:

  1. Opening the settings for periods
  2. Editing periods

1. Opening the settings for periods

The person responsible wants to edit the settings for periods.

To open the settings for periods, the person responsible selects the module Settings | Work records | Periods.

2. Editing periods

The person responsible wants to edit the periods for the RDH work schedule.

From the drop-down list of the field Work schedule, the person responsible selects a single-shift work schedule called RDH.

This opens the list of periods for the RDH work schedule.

The person responsible starts editing the rules that apply to the working hours.

From the drop-down list of the field Day of the week, the person responsible selects All days.

After clicking the clock button , the person responsible can select the desired period, in this case from 06:00 to 18:00.

The period is confirmed by clicking the plus button .

Next, the person responsible defines Mandatory attendance for employees.

In this case, the person responsible selects the period from 10:00 to 14:00.

The person responsible then sets the period for the lunch break by selecting Lunch break from the drop-down list in the section Lunch break, other.

After clicking the clock button , the person responsible can select the period for the lunch break, in this case from 10:00 to 14:00.

The person responsible sets the Included time for the lunch break to 00:30 minutes.

The period is confirmed by clicking the plus button .

The main periods for recording working hours within the RDH work schedule have now been defined.
