This chapter presents a use case of transferring international units of measurement codes, which are crucial for eDocument exchange.
The person responsible opens the Items Register.
To do this, the person responsible selects Settings | Items | Items in the menu, or presses the function key F12.

Automatically, the record of the first item is opened on the General panel.
Below in the Dimensions and Units of Meas. section, the person responsible double-clicks the Primary U/M field.
The Units of Measurement Register opens.

The person responsible sees that where the unit of measurement should be entered (UM column), the International units of measurement codes 2 column is empty.

To be able to select an international code in the empty columns, the person responsible transfers the Units of Measurement register from the web server.
In the Units of Measurement Register toolbar, the person responsible clicks the
(Import/Export Data) button and selects the Transfer International Unit of Measurement Codes 2 option from the drop-down list.
A Register Transfer – International Units of Measurement Codes 2 window opens.
The person responsible can set custom Criteria and Import Type.

In this case, the person responsible selects the adding and changing option in the Import Type field: Add/Update.
The person responsible clicks the Transfer from Server button.
In the lower part of the window, all international units of measurement codes that the program will transfer are visible.

To continue, the person responsible clicks the Transfer into Register button.
In the Units of Measurement Register, the person responsible must now select the correct code in the International Units of Measurement Codes 2 column on the PCS unit of measurement entry.
