Removing (Uninstalling) PANTHEON

Removal (uninstallation)

In this chapter, we will show you how to uninstall PANTHEON from your computer.

1. Uninstalling the Datalab software

The user follows these steps:

  • In the Dashboard, the user selects Remove program.
  • The user selects the DataLab software.
  • The user clicks Remove/Uninstall.
  • The user follows the on-screen instructions.

WARNING

The process of uninstalling the Datalab software is automatic or guided by the software uninstall wizard.

2. Removing the data server and database

If a data server and database are installed on the computer, the user can uninstall them using a similar procedure:

  • In the Dashboard, the user selects Remove program.
  • The user selects Data server
  • The user clicks Uninstall.
  • The user follows the on-screen instructions.

 

WARNING
  • The SQL Server cannot be removed if it is active. In this case, shut down the server as well as the Service Manager in SQL Service Manager.
  • For security reasons, the uninstaller does not delete the database. If you want to delete a database ( WARNING – DATA), then manually delete the .MDF and .LDF files in the directorythat you specified as the database location when you installed it.
