Resources

In the Resources panel you can set up several parameters for the Resources register. This includes which data will be shown on resource, default values, costs, fixed assets that can be linked and additional fields.

The panel can be accessed from the menu Settings | Program | Administration Panel and by selecting Settings | Manufacturing | Registers | Resources.

Below is a description of form's features.

1. Show Data

In this section, you can select data that will be visible in the Resources register.

Number of Empl.

By selecting this option, the Employees field, which determines how many employees are needed to work on the resource, will be displayed in the General tab of the Resources register.

Work Calendars By selecting this option, the Active Calendar field, which determines work calendar linked to the resource, will be displayed in the General tab of the Resources register.
Regulations By selecting this option, the Regulation field, which determines regulations linked the resource, will be displayed in the General tab of the Resources register.
Salary Grades By selecting this option, the Salary Grade field, which determines how many employees are needed to work on the resource, will be displayed in the General tab of the Resources register.

2. Default Values

In this section, you can select default values for work calendar and working hours that will be set in the Resources register.

Calendar

In this field, select the default work calendar that the program will transfer to the Active Calendar field in the General tab of the Resources register.

Selected calendar will be used for scheduling in technological procedures and formulas of technological procedures for resources that don't have a defined calendar. The calendar can also be used for the scheduling by the lead time and daily quantities.

Work From In this field, enter the default value as the start of working hours that the program will transfer to the Work From field in the General tab of the Resources register.
Work To In this field, enter the default value as the end of working hours that the program will transfer to the Work To field in the General tab of the Resources register.

3. Costs

In this section, you can define additional cost fields to be displayed in the Resources register.

In the left field is the field's name. The field is active and visible if it's named.

In the smaller right field is the sequential number that determines the order in which the program will display fields in the costs section of the Resources register.

Set-Up Costs You can set up to 5 names for set-up costs, you will track for this resource.
Set-up costs are costs that are required for the preparation of a resource to a new operation and do not depend on the produced quantity and processing time. Typical set-up costs are cleaning the resource, change of tools, calibration, ... Meaning, cost that emerge before the resource starts with production processing.
Production Costs You can set up to 5 names for production costs, you will track for this resource.
Production costs depend on the produced quantity or processing time. Typical production costs are power supply, consumables, depreciation of machinery, etc. Meaning, costs which determine the processing time cost for the production of one product.

4. Link Fixed Asset types with resources

In this section you can select which group of Fixed Asset will be avaliable to link with resource.

Equipment If selected, fixed assets categorized as equipment can be linked to the resource in the Equipment tab of the Resources register.
Company Vehicle If selected, fixed assets categorized as company vehicle can be linked to the resource in the Equipment tab of the Resources register.
Utility Vehicle If selected, fixed assets categorized as utility vehicle can be linked to the resource in the Equipment tab of the Resources register.
Protective equipment If selected, fixed assets categorized as protective equipment can be linked to the resource in the Equipment tab of the Resources register.

5. Additional Fields

In this section of the panel you can define additional fields to be displayed in the Resources register.

In the left field is the field's name. The field is active and visible if it's named. 

In the smaller, middle field (Sequence) is the sequential number that determines the order in which the program will display fields.

In the right field a SQL statement can be entered that generates a search table of data that can be entered in additional fields when updating resources.

Text Fields You can define for the resource special additional text fields (i.e. for the description of the note for a resource). In the field you can enter the desired name of the text field.
Numerical Fields You can define up to 3 numerical fields. You can use fields to enter additional numerical data of the resource. In the field you can enter the desired name of the additional field.
