The revaluation described here is no longer used in SAS 2002!

If you would like to revalue stock to the most recent fixed price at the end of the year (?????), the inventory revaluation function will give you information about the value of stock valued by fixed prices and the value of stock valued by the most recent fixed price.

In this case, the revaluation value of stock is 770 EUR.

You can get the book value of the stock (manually or using the automatic posting template) by looking at the movements in accounts 310 and 319.

The stock value for this example:

account 310    EUR 825,00

account 3190    EUR -85

account 3191    EUR -60

= stock value EUR 680

The result is an upward revaluation of 90 EUR.
