For a more detailed description of use of serial numbers see chapter Serial numbers.

  • Serial numbers can be entered individually, manually in the window for serial numbers entry. Simply enter the serial number and move down to the next field with the use of cursor buttons.
  •  If the serial numbers are in regular sequence, the Copy button can be helpful. A window for copying of serial numbers opens, where you can enter the criteria for copying, while the adequate number of serial numbers is then provided by the program itself. The function is only used with unique serial numbers.

ID
 the ID (code), name and the measuring unit of the item, for which you are receiving the serial numbers are displayed.
Quantity
 entered received quantity on the document line.

Please note, that the program will synchronize both data when recording the data in the line of receiving, due to the condition, that the received quantity has to be equal to the quantity of received serial numbers. The quantity at the receiving will thus be same as quantity of received serial numbers.
Serial number list of received serial numbers, which you have entered manually copied automatically.

If this is the serial number of type E or O, where the grasp of the serial number is set in the serial numbers templates register (see Entry of serial numbers), the name of a serial number or its part will be depending on the following template:

When the serial number is set, it can not be changed anymore (see Serial number can not be changed anymore!).
Quantity
  • if this is a unique serial number, the field for entry of the quantity does not appear because the default quantity of receiving is 1
  • if this is one of batch serial numbers, an additional field for entry of quantity of receiving of an individual batch appears

If you only enter the quantity, but you do not select the serial number, the program returns an error note (see Serial number has to be mandatory entered!).

 When the quantity of entered serial numbers fits the default quantity, the program reports that (see Serial numbers quantity reached!).

000001.gif In the concluding material period (see Settings | Parameters | Goods | Basic data) or completed tax period (see Goods | VAT | VAT calculation) the entered serial numbers can not be changed anymore. In such case the program opens the window for the serial numbers overview with the click on the button "Serial numbers".
