Issue serial numbers

Issue serial numbers form allows us to select avaliable serial numbers for items that are managed by serial numbers. 

The form shows us the list of avaliable serial numbers on stock, number of serial numbers needed  and allows us to link serial numbers with the issue document.

Form is opened automatically, if the item issued has serial number tracking assigned in the Items register.

Warning

The layout of buttons and cards may vary slightly, depending on the device used.

 

Below is the description of form's features.

1. Header

This section contains information about item and quantities.

Item Displays the ID of the Item.
Required qty. Displays required quantity of serial numbers for the issue.
Quantity Displays quantity of issued serial numbers.
Difference Displays the difference between required and issued serial numbers.
Delete all By clicking this button, all selected serial numbers are deleted from the list. They are then avaliable in the Avaliable serial numbers list.

2. Avaliable serial numbers

This section contains avaliable serial number in stock.

Serial number (field) Enter serial part of serial number to search for it among avaliable serial number.
Serial number (column) Displays the avaliable serial numbers in stock in selected warehouse. To select the serial number check the checkbox on the left of the number.
Stock Displays the number of items with this serial number. (1 for individaul serial numbers, more for batch serial numbers)
Transfer serial numbers By clikcing this button, selected serial numbers are transfered to Issued serial numbers list.

3. Issued serial numbers

This section contains issued serial numbers.

Prefix Enter the prefix for serial numbers. All created serial numbers will start with the prefix entered. For example see the picture above.
Serial no. Enter the starting serial number. This will be the first serial number created, every next one will be bigger by a value of one (for example 12321, 12322, 12323 ...).

Quantity

Enter the quantity of serial numbers to be created.
Multiply By clicking the button, serial numbers are created and displayed in the Issued serial numbers list.
Serial number Displays issued serial numbers.
Quantity Displays the quantity of issed serial numbers. (1 for individaul serial numbers, more for batch serial numbers)
 (Delete) By clicking this button, serial number is deleted from issued serial numbers and is again avaliable in Avaliable serial numbers list.
Cancel By clicking this button, issuing of serial numbers is canceled.
Confirmation By clicking this button, issuing of serial numbers is confirmed.
