Specification of Lines

Specifying Lines of Material

Having confirmed a line it is listed among lines of material in the upper panel. Order fields in any way you want by using drag-and-drop. You can also resize them at will. Values displayed in fields are originally retrieved from the window for editing specifications. You cannot change them.

Alt.
Enter or select an alternate specification.

The currently selected active alternate is by default set for a newly-added line of material. Otherwise the default alternate 0 is used.

Line
Displays a number of line in ascending order. You can change it at will  
Material
Enter or select an ID of line of material.  
Item Type
Displays an item type.
Name
Enter or select a name of item. Clicking the icon in note field displays an additional description which you can modify. If additional description already exists in line, the icon is greyed out and displayed in bold type.
Batch
Specify number of units in production batch. You can set the number of decimal places in Manufacturing | Specifications | General | Decimal Places.
Net/1
Displays net quantity required in batch assembly.  
U/M
Displays a unit of measurement. Set the main unit of measurement which can be primary, a secondary U/M which is set as collective U/M and the customs unit of measurement which is set as tertiary. First you have to set units of measurement in the Items register.
Volume
Enter or select number of units in specification expressed in unit of measurement. Here you can set the amount of volume ranging from 1 to 1,000,000 units.
Scrap
Displays quantity of scrap in batch production. You can modify it at will.  
Waste
Displays quantity of waste in batch production. You can modify it at will.  
Gross/1
Displays gross quantity required for batch assembly.  
Prim. Categ.
Displays a primary category ID.  
Sec. Category
Displays a secondary category ID.
Net/Volume
Displays net quantity required for batch assembly per volume.
 
Waste/Volume
Displays quantity of waste in batch production per volume.  
Scrap/Volume
Displays quantity of scrap in batch production per volume.  
Gross/Volume
Displays gross quantity required for batch assembly per volume.
